NEW WEB STORE OPEN HERE NOW ย https://acid-reign.backstreetmerch.com/

We are the self styled Squaredanciest band in the world and kings of United Kingdom Apple Core. We were alive back in the day then we died and now we’re alive again, a bit like Jesus (although apparently he died again so maybe not).

This is the place to find out what is going on with us right now, upcoming shows, what music is available (everything, buy it!) and what our next moves will be. You can interact with the band, watch a video even listen to one of H’s podcasts on the Talking Bollocks page, there’s lots to do and we hope you enjoy your stay.

Of those, Slayer. However, the best metal album of 1988 was Voivod "Dimension Hatrรถss". Best album of 1988 overall was Sonic Youth "Daydream Nation".

What a year! So hard to chose but going for South of Heaven which was my introduction to Slayer. I rember vividly my first listen on a walkman going round a supermarket with my mum! Couldn't believe those drums! Still my favourite Slayer album! I like each one of the albums here though!๐Ÿค˜

That is a very tough one .... in fact the only one I don't like is Queensryche and I don't really even hate it that much ... Would have to go with Leprosy

South of heaven or seventh son? Very tough choice, and leprosy is a great album too! Spur of the moment decision, south of heaven

Avatar

Seventh Son for me, but I would really like to hear Justice remastered with the bass properly engineered and a bass drum that doesn't sound like a metronome on ritalin

Avatar

Queensryche operation mind crime the only album and tour to come close in that era was Alice in chains dirt Joe Sullivan

1 week ago   ·  1
Avatar

If I was forced to I would take.Leprosy as it is possibly my favorite Death album. Most of the the other bands have better albums in their back catalogue that I would just need to live with.

And Justice for all closely followed by South of Heaven - my fav albums of Metallica and Slayer respectively both in the same year.
